Divorce Support for Kids
What is this group about?Divorce support for kids is based on the belief that divorce does not have to mean long-term trauma for children. This program is designed to reduce the child’s stress of parental divorce or separation by providing a supportive group environment. Divorce support for kids can build children’s competence by teaching specific skills to cope with the many challenges posed by parental divorce or separation. The program’s goal is to prevent or minimize the behavioral and emotional problems that children can experience following the divorce or separation of their parents.
