Cars for Kids' fundraiser 8/21

The Youth Service
Bureau held its seventh annual 'Kroozer's Cars for
Kids' fundraiser Saturday, August 21, on the Woodstock Square. 265 classic cars and hot-rods were on
display. Everett Kuhn won an award for his 1937 Cord. Other car awards were picked by YSB Board
President Rich Gnivecki, Police Officers, State
Representative Jack Franks, Mayor Cornue, kid's
choice and the Kroozers. The awards were steering wheel
clocks and were sponsored by A-Able Lock & Alarm, Hair Mania, Ray's
Remodeling and the Kroozers. The fundraiser takes place every summer. It is sponsored by the Kroozers
of Northern Illinoiz
and all proceeds are donated to YSB. This year's event netted $8,700.
The Youth Service
Bureau (YSB) is a not-for-profit organization that has been helping youth and
families in McHenry County
since 1975. YSB provides prevention
programs and counseling services to youth and families. YSB is located at 101 South Jefferson Street
