Curves cares for the children at YSB
Two Curves locations are helping the children at the Youth Service Bureau. The Curves located at 110 Grant Highway in Marengo is collecting gifts for the YSB T.A.M.I. program. This program helps pregnant and parenting teens by providing support, education and linkage to community resources. The Curves members are buying diapers, crib sheets, toys and other items the babies and parents need.
The Curves located at 5186 N.W. Highway in Crystal Lake has been putting gifts under the tree for the YSB managed Lakewood Neighborhood Resource Center. These gifts include games, and program needs like paper items, and juice. The Lakewood Resource Center provides education, recreation and a sense of community for 30 children a day at the Lakewood Apartment Complex.
The gifts will enrich and improve the holidays for the kids and families that these programs serve. The Curves members are extremely generous and YSB thanks them for their help.
YSB is a not-for-profit organization that has been providing prevention programs and counseling services to youth and families in McHenry County since 1975.
