Exceptional Volunteers receive YSB Awards
Three individuals were honored with the YSB Extra Mile for Youth Award at the monthly board meeting at YSB, 10/19/04. Anne Galletta of Starbucks, Quinn Keefe of the Woodstock Chamber, and Bob Westman of the Northern Illinoiz Kroozers all received the engraved recognition award. Their work for YSB in fundraising has been continual and exceptional. YSB appreciates all the time and effort they have put into supporting YSB and the youth that they serve.
Anne Galletta has consistently participated in YSB fundraisers, getting Starbucks employees involved, allowing YSB to post information at the Woodstock store, selling raffle tickets, and much more. Bob Westman has been running the Kroozers Cars for Kids August car show on the Woodstock Square for seven years. All proceeds from the show support YSB programs and services. Quinn Keefe has offered support and helped in matters concerning Woodstock Square merchants and in coordinating the car show event. YSB is lucky to have such dedicated people helping the youth of McHenry County.
YSB is a not-for-profit organization that has been providing prevention programs and counseling services to youth and families in McHenry County since 1975.
