Family
first is a home-based, intensive family preservation program offered to families
with child abuse and/or neglect issues. A
variety of services are available to these families in an attempt to keep the
children in the home, keep the family intact, and improve overall family functioning. All
referrals to the Family First program are made by the Department of Children and
