YSB T.A.M.I. Program Expands Services for Spanish Speaking Youth

In order to meet the needs of the growing Latino population in McHenry County YSB is now offering the successful T.A.M.I. program for pregnant and parenting teens to Spanish language McHenry County teens. It will be facilitated by a YSB bilingual Parent Educator. The T.A.M.I program has been successfully helping teens in McHenry County to attain educational goals while successfully parenting their young children for over 10 years. The program is free of charge and provides group and individual support, pregnancy and parenting information, support for school challenges and linkage to community resources. The group will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 2018 North Route 47 in Woodstock on Mondays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. For more information contact Helenn McManaman at YSB, 815-338-7360.
