Victims of Abuse

The Youth Service Bureau (YSB) serves child victims of all forms of abuse.  Children who have been victims of physical, verbal, environmental, and sexual abuse are provided with the services they need to regain their self-esteem and strength in order to be able to live productive, healthy, safe lives without the fear of being victimized again. 

These services include:

  • Intensive family case work
  • Assessment and evaluation
  • Comprehensive treatment planning and coordination of services
  • Individual and family treatment
  • Peer group therapy and support
  • Support groups for non-offending parents
  • Anti-victimization training
  • Court liaison and reporting; expert court testimony when required
