Woodstock Rotary donates computers to Lakewood Neighborhood Resource Center

The Woodstock Rotary donated 7 computers and 7 17” display monitors to the Lakewood Neighborhood Resource Center November 11.  Approximately 30 children attend the center at the Lakewood Apartment Complex. They will use the computers to become computer literate and do homework.  The 4H Tech Team donated their time and installed the computers. The Rotary is planning on sending volunteers to the center to mentor and work with the children in the future.

The Lakewood Neighborhood Resource Center is a program YSB manages at the Lakewood Apartment Complex in WoodstockThe center operates Monday through Friday providing education and recreation for the apartment complex residential children.  It operates with funding from United Way, and various grants and donations. The computers will be a big help to the children there.
